System login time shortened by 74%

At Trans-Log, the warehouse system was sluggish due to an overloaded cloud. We moved key modules to a local server, which eliminated delays and the irritation of 42 employees.

Trans-Log is a local logistics leader that struggled with technology blocking daily work. A slow cloud meant simple tasks took too long. We showed that technology should serve you, not vice versa.

The challenge

Warehouse employees in Częstochowa were losing their nerves every time they scanned goods. The cloud operating system loaded in an average of 19 seconds. With 42 people on shift, this led to massive time losses. Data had to travel to a server in another country and back, which caused bottlenecks with a weaker connection. Every system freeze meant a delay in a truck's departure by several minutes.

Our approach

We sent a team of 3 of our technicians to Trans-Log. Instead of proposing more expensive fiber optic links, we focused on data sovereignty. We conducted an audit and calculated that 83% of processes could be closed within the local network. We operate stably and predictably, so the plan assumed building our own computing node on-site at the company.

The solution

We installed a dedicated server in the client's office. We moved the database and login module there. We configured a secure connection that does not require internet for basic warehouse functions to work. Now your data stays with you. We conducted the entire migration process over one weekend so as not to interrupt the company's work.

Results

The system regained fluidity, and warehouse workers stopped reporting failures. This was fact instead of promises, which translated into real profits and peace of mind in the team.

"I was skeptical about giving up the cloud because everyone talks about it. However, Innovation Embassy proved that a local server is simply faster work. The warehouse finally hit the ground running."
