Marek Nowicki
Security Specialist
Practical approach to data protection
Marek has been working at Innovation Embassy since March 2017. He doesn't waste time on theoretical considerations about the cloud. Instead, he focuses on the physical security of your computers and servers in Częstochowa. Last year, he spent 214 hours on audits in local manufacturing companies. He detected 31 serious gaps through which data could leak to the competition.
His method is simple: he turns off what is unnecessary and leaves only what works stably. Recently, in a small design office, he organized documentation access for 7 employees. Previously, anyone could delete everything by mistake. Marek introduced a permission system that blocked this in 4 days. He operates stably and predictably.
Technology should serve you, not vice versa. Marek makes sure you have the keys to your data, not a corporation from the USA. (To be honest, Marek can be brutally honest when he sees someone using the password '123456' in accounting). He believes that security starts with order in the cables and the team's heads, not with expensive subscriptions.
Outside of work, Marek tests old routers for vulnerability to attacks. In 2023, he helped 12 companies regain control over their own customer databases after previous IT specialists disappeared with the passwords. He doesn't promise miracles. He promises that your data stays with you and no unauthorized person will copy it to a pendrive.
